Dried pineapple that keeps its bright yellow colour and tropical aroma. Available as rings, slices and dices; candied or with no added sugar.

Private label
Because pineapple has a very high water content, it is one of the products that loses the most volume during drying. Keeping the ring form intact depends on getting the slice thickness and drying temperature right.
The candied type, soft in texture and vivid in colour, is preferred in bakery and confectionery. The no-added-sugar type is darker and firmer, and suits muesli, granola and natural snack mixes.
